ALFRED EISINGER

Half way through college I went to Israel immediately following the Six Day War in 1967 to volunteer for several months. That changed my life. Graduated Cleveland State in 1970 (BA), married Judy Karr (Heights '68) the following week, graduated Case Western Reserve in 1975 (MSSA). Worked for Cuyahoga and Geauga County Welfare Departments, moved to Israel in 1977. Returned to USA in 1985, settled in West Palm Beach, Florida. Retired as executive director of a social service agency that serves developmentally challenged children and adults (from 1986 0 2013). Recognized for our work in the field of rehabilitation by AMVETS (1998), named the Non-Profit Organization of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches (2010). We enjoy frequent visits to Cleveland to visit family. Travel to Europe and Israel on a fairly regular basis. Own a second home near our daughter in Reading, PA. (home of Rocky Colavito).
