After graduation from Northwestern, I moved to New York where I produced a children's tv show and the high school quiz show "It's Academic". Married and moved back to Chicago where I established a theater camp and taught dramatics. Had my son, Sean, in '74 and daughter, Courtney, in '78. Divorced in '82 and entered the real estate field. For 17 years I was a Corporate Relocation Director and went back to selling real estate in 2003. Remarried in 2000 to the love of my life, Shelly, We attended the 35 year reunion just a few weeks after our marriage. Lost him tragically at the end of 2005 after a brief battle with a brain tumor. I have established a scholarship in his name at his high school, South Shore High, on the south side of Chicago. This was once one of the elite schools in the area, many years ago, but you all have read the news about Chicago's south side. I am involved with the School of the Arts. The kids have become like my own. This is the most rewarding work I have ever done. Their appreciation and determination amazes me. When I am not fundraising for my students, I am with my grandchildren and occasionally selliing real estate!
Best memory is appearing as Emily in school production of "Our Town". Changed my way of viewing life! Have seen several productions over the last 40 years, and I cry my eyes out every time!

Laura, sadly we parted for the same reason. Our parents had been good friends. Mark often sent me pictures of the 4 of them. RIP
I am heartsick. We were planning to meet for lunch next week in New York. Stuart was one of a kind. Brilliant, quirky, and a romantic at heart. Rest In Peace Stuart.??

Rich was a neighbor of mine. I remember my mom telling me in 1973-74 that he died of "pancreatitis", whatever that means. I do know he was troubled. When I visited my parents in 1975, his mom came over to see my baby son. She was a very sweet woman.
